Laboratory Management (Minor)

Overview

The Minor in Laboratory Management is designed to offer students education and training in laboratory management as a streamlined curriculum that will prepare them to be workforce ready. Students benefit from hands-on laboratory learning with class sizes that allow for intensive one-on-one training. Students completing the minor will have the skills necessary to step into a lab management position. Students who complete this minor will be holistically trained in all aspects of laboratory management including budgeting, accounting, management of people and resources, chemical and biological laboratory preparation techniques, as well as cross-industry safety practices and regulation knowledge.
