NSCI 4202 Science Laboratory Internship

Students will work in a professional laboratory setting for no less than 60 hours. These hours may be completed within a single trimester, or across two separate trimesters. Students who cannot secure their own work within a laboratory are encouraged to work with a faculty member to reach out to possible internship partners. Internships may or may not be paid. If no outside university positions are available, a student may intern under a faculty member who is working on a large project in the lab and can oversee intensive training of the student and provide them a professional working experience. If the student is to intern at the university, the internship is not to be one that is a course laboratory preparation or clean-up position. 60-80 trimester hours worked = 2 credit hours. (may be repeated)
