In addition to the required Interdisciplinary Studies core curriculum, students can earn a minor in Liberal Arts by completing an additional six credit hours in a traditional liberal arts field that are not part of the required IDS courses and not part of a major or another minor program

These additional hours:
Must be within the traditional liberal arts (pre-professional programs excluded)
Cannot be courses that also count for credit within the required IDS Core Curriculum, including Artistic Expression courses
Cannot also count for credit in either a major or another minor
Must be approved by the student’s advisor and the IDS Chair
