NSCI 2202 Introduction to Laboratory Management
An introduction to working in a scientific laboratory setting. Topics include laboratory safety using MSDS and following OSHA regulations, materials and solutions preparation, clean-up and disposal of chemical and biological waste, as well as common equipment use and maintenance. Topics of stock intake and management systems, as well as ordering and budget management will also be included. Students will partake in assisting with the preparation of undergraduate laboratory courses, as appropriate.
