KINE 3352 Theory of Coaching Interscholastic Sports

Emphasis on coaching major team sports. Instruction includes psychology of coaching; certification of coaches; finance and budgeting; purchase, care, and repair of equipment; methods of scheduling; rules of the sport; and fundamentals of offense and defense. (May be repeated for total of 8 hours: 2 hours each in baseball, basketball, soccer, and cross country).
