ENGL 3603 Composition Theory
For English majors seeking a secondary education certificate or planning to attend graduate school: survey of composition theory and pedagogy needed to successfully teach writing; topics include history of composition studies, composing process, philosophies and various approaches to composition study, collaborative learning, Writing Across the Curriculum, evaluation, and correlation between literature and writing.
