ENGL 3302 Literature for Young People

Survey of authors, illustrators, and genres of children's literature. Provides students with the opportunity to: (a) read and become familiar with literature written specifically for children and young adults, (b) teach lessons in literary skills commonly taught in grades K-12, and (c) develop and present examples of the various ways of encouraging and assessing children's responses to literature.
