Spanish (Minor)

Overview

A minor in Spanish will prepare students for graduate studies in many disciplines such as English, linguistics, or humanities as well as for any public service careers.

Minor Requirements

Required Spanish Core (20 hours)

SPAN 1104	Elementary Spanish I	4
SPAN 1114	Elementary Spanish II	4
SPAN 2003	Intermediate Spanish I	3
SPAN 2013	Intermediate Spanish II	3
SPAN 3203	Phonetics and Conversation	3
SPAN 3213	Composition and Advanced Grammar	3

Note: Students can take SPAN-1118 Elementary Spanish I & II in place of SPAN-1104 Elementary Spanish I and SPAN-1114 Elementary Spanish II separately.
