Creative Writing (Minor)

Overview

USAO’s creative writing minor comprises 21 credit hours in literature, theory and various genres of writing. The program allows students to study the history and technique of both fiction and poetry, as well as writing for stage and screen.

Note: Creative writing courses in other disciplines such as Theater Arts and Film Studies may be substituted for ENGL courses at the same level upon approval of the minor advisor. Students should acquire approval for substitutions before enrolling.
