THTR 1113 Introduction to Film
A broad survey of the development of the cinema and the genres of narrative, documentary, animated, and experimental film. The student will develop an appreciation for the art of the filmmaker and learn the vocabulary appropriate to an intelligent critique of classic and contemporary film.
