SOC 4613 Delinquency and the Juvenile Justice System

This provides a detailed examination of the processes involved in the causation, forms, extent, prevention and control of juvenile delinquency. Students will critically examine the procedures utilized by the various juvenile justice agencies from initial contact with law enforcement agents to the selection of a disposal alternative.
